Cast includes Charlotte Gainsbourg, Didier Bezace, Simon de la Brosse, Nathalie Cardone, and Raoul Billerey. (104 minutes, 1989)

Nunzio: Retarded Brooklyn market delivery boy Proval envisions he’s Superman and then falls in love with bakery associate Feldshuh. Soft tale improved by Proval’s fine acting. Cast includes David Proval, James Andronica, Tovah Feldshuh, Morgana Baron, Vincent Russo, Theresa Saldana, and Monica Lewis. (87 minutes, 1978)

Black Orpheus: Street car conductor Mello and countrygirl Dawn fall in love in Rio de Janeiro during Carnival. Musical updating of the Orpheus and Eurydice fable is beautifully performed and prompted. Cast includes Breno Mello, Marpessa Dawn, Lea Garcia, Adhemar Da Silva, and Lourdes De Oliveira. (103 minutes, 1959)

After Hours: Normal man goes through a succession of weird experiences throughout one remarkable day in N.Y.C. How much you like this joke bad dream can rely on how precisely you relate to Dunne, the only common individual in the film! Cast includes Griffin Dunne, Rosanna Arquette, Verna Bloom, Thomas Chong, Linda Fiorentino, Teri Garr, John Heard, Cheech Marin, Catherine O’Hara, Dick Miller, and Bronson Pinchot. (97 minutes, 1985)

So Fine: Crazy comedy in reference to professor-child of a N.Y.C. clothes producer who is dragged into the business and accidentally finds success with a crazy idea for see-through slacks. Film goes off in spontaneous directions some of them surprisingly stupid-however continues to be funny most of the time. Cast includes Ryan O’Neal, Jack Warden, Mariangela Melato, Richard Kiel, Fred Gwynne, Mike Kellin, and David Rounds. (91 minutes, 1981)

Say One for Me: Bing plays a Broadway pastor who gets mixed up with a chorus gal (Debbie) and a Television charitable cause show. Horribly contrived; no memorable music. Cast includes Debbie Reynolds, Bing Crosby, Robert Wagner, Ray Walston, Les Tremayne, Connie Gilchrist, StelIa Stevens, Frank McHugh, Joe Besser, and Sebastian Cabot. (119 minutes, 1959)

Sidewalks of New York: A light hearted comedy in regards to lhe romantic entanglements of a group of New Yorkers. The film has an unmistakable Woody Allen-ish feel, although Burns’ script is no match for Allen. Cast includes Edward Bums, Rosario Dawson, Heather Graham, Stanley Tucci, David Krumholtz, Dennis Farina, Brittany Murphy, Callie Thome, and Aida Turturro. (107 minutes, 2001)
