Why have some of my programs lost functionality after Service Pack 2 is installed?

I have a Samsung DVD – what is the best SATA card to use ?
In our experience the best Sata Card is any with a VIA 6421 Chipset. Very cheap to buy – you shouldn’t pay more than FDISK option 4 to display partition information. Make sure drive is at correct capacity and is showing 100% usage. If CMOS settings are correct but FDISK shows a capacity of 504MB or less (and drive is larger than 504MB), then you need to delete all existing partitions. After verifying that no partitions exist (FDISK option 4), exit from FDISK and at the A:> prompt, run FDISK/MBR [Enter].
Will the codes damage my handset?
